Blick Art Materials is a retail art supply store with locations around the country and two locations in Boston. Blick wants to spread their business in an area of Boston where the arts are lacking. Surrounded by government and medical facilities, 50 Staniford Street is the perfect location to interject the arts among all of the sciences. The concept is to provide both a retail experience and a place for artists, both professional and non-professional to find studio space to flex their creative muscles. The studios will be divided into private/ more permanent studios for resident artists and open/bookable studio space. The location will be used as an event location for the arts and house both a permanent gallery and ability to house a temporary gallery/exhibition experience.
